Wheel Offset & Fitment
Changing wheel width or offset moves both lips of the wheel. Compare two setups — poke at the fender and clearance toward the suspension — before you buy.

What you’re considering
+11.3 mm
Outer lip (poke) further out
+1.3 mm
Inner lip closer to suspension
Outer side: the new wheel sits 11.3 mm further out — check fender and arch-liner clearance, especially loaded or on full lock.
Inner side: 1.3 mm less clearance to the suspension — verify strut, spring perch and brake caliper clearance.
Rim-only view. Tyre section width and sidewall bulge add roughly 10–20 mm per side beyond the rim — size tyres with a margin.
Good to know
- Offset (ET) is measured from the wheel’s centre line to the mounting face — smaller ET pushes the wheel further out.
- Rim width grows both ways from the centre: 1 inch of extra width is roughly 12.7 mm split per side, before offset moves it further.
- Real clearance also depends on tyre section width, sidewall bulge, camber and suspension travel — treat this as the first check, not the last.
